The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Lanyard Scheme aims to highlight that not all disabilities are visible or immediately obvious.  The sunflower, with its distinctive vibrancy and universally-known appearance, is the symbol of the scheme.

Living with a hidden disability can make daily life more demanding for many people, and it can be difficult for others to recognise the challenges faced.

At the Wellgate we have committed to training our staff to identify the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower, to gain a deeper understanding of hidden disabilities and learn how to approach and support customers with a hidden disability.
